Let’s Take a Look at the Tour!

Here is a look at the tour. The tour flow is as follows:

Factory tour ⇒ Metal processing experience

Factory tour

First, let's visit the factory and see the craftsmanship and latest equipment. This company is equipped with machines that can process parts ranging from palm-sized to up to 3 meters in length, and can handle processing, measurement, and programming all at once.

You’ll also have the chance to hear directly from professionals who spend their days working with machines and supporting Japan’s manufacturing. They’ll share stories you rarely get to hear — behind-the-scenes insights, personal passions, and clever techniques — drawing you deeper and deeper into the fascinating world of craftsmanship.

The factory keeps around 300 drills on hand, ranging in size from 1 to 60 millimeters in diameter. By carefully selecting the right tool for each material and purpose, they are able to achieve an astonishing level of precision in every finished product.

Between tours, you’ll even get the chance to try your hand at simple drilling, with the support of the company president! Operate a large machine, aim precisely at your target, and experience both the challenge of hitting it perfectly and the thrill of accomplishment when you succeed.

Metalworking Experience

In the metalworking experience, you will create a traditional Japanese toy, a "top," with a precision of 1/100 mm, and experience the techniques of metalworking for yourself. The way the top spins changes depending on the position and depth of the holes drilled in the top, so you can create a one-of-a-kind original top. A highly precise top can even continue to spin for over 10 minutes! You can take home the top you made as a souvenir! Experience the reliable techniques of "made in Japan" through this experience that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.

In addition to tops, the experience space is lined with many other toys made from metal.

Please enjoy this experience along with the metalworking experience.

This is a special experience that touches the heart of Japanese "monozukuri" (craftsmanship). You can actually touch the materials, feel their texture and scent, and experience up close the meticulous techniques and dedication of the artisans. Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience Japan's advanced technical capabilities. Visitors from overseas are also welcome. (*An interpreter must be present.)
