[During your trip to Kumano] Mount Nachi Tourist Center

The return bus to Nachikatsuura Station also departs from here ("Mount Nachi" bus stop). Many people board at the "Nachi Falls" bus stop, but if you want a comfortable seat, this bus stop is highly recommended! While you're waiting, why not visit the Mount Nachi Tourist Center?

The site has a large parking lot that can accommodate 20 tourist buses and approximately 70 standard cars. Equipped with clean toilets and rest areas, the parking lot is bustling with tourists who use it before and after visiting Mount Nachi.

At the Mount Nachi Tourist Center's cafe corner, you can enjoy not only dishes like curry and udon noodles made with Kumano beef, but also the local milk-based sweet "Kuroame Soft Serve" and the flavorful "Jabara Soft Serve," made with a generous amount of "Jabara," a refreshing citrus fruit that is a specialty of Kitayama Village.

Souvenir corner

The store is stocked with a wide variety of local specialties and souvenirs, including "Nachi Kuro (candy)" inspired by Nachi Kuroishi, as well as Wakayama's famous pickled plums and honey, a specialty of the Kumano region.

In addition, there is a wide selection of attractive, high-quality clothing unique to the Kumano Kodo area, as well as cute, carefully crafted special commemorative stuffed animals, so be sure to find something you like when you visit.
