Hashigui Rock is a unique and extraordinary sight, with around 40 rock pillars lined up in a straight line from the sea. The spacious grounds are equipped with free parking for approximately 50 cars, and can accommodate not only regular cars but also large buses. There is also an observation space on the second floor, from which you can get a panoramic view of the magnificent Hashigui Rocks, which line the road from Kushimoto to Oshima. It's the perfect place to refresh your tired body after a long drive.

The tourist information center offers a wealth of tourist information about the Kushimoto Town area, helping you plan your sightseeing route and discover the sights. Kushimoto Town also has an unforgettable history. In 1890, a Turkish warship was hit by a typhoon on its way home and tragically sank in the sea off the coast of Kushimoto Town. At that time, local residents worked tirelessly to rescue survivors and search for missing persons.

This incident sparked a deep friendship between Turkey and Kushimoto Town, and the Turkey Memorial Hall was later built as a testament to this. Nowadays, souvenir shops in the town sell Turkish-related products, allowing visitors to experience the history of a foreign country.
